.. at the end of the day, if you're not trying to be perfect... what are you trying to be?

I ask the same question, to Coach Caldwell and at times to myself. If your eye is not on the goal, if you are not aiming for perfection, what is it that keeps you going? what is it that allows you to sleep peacefully at night? what is it .. ?

But you probably won't get it.. many of them won't. They aren't just cut for it, Perfection!!

Just Chillax..

I saw a bird.. flying alone high above the calm waters of the lake; sometimes joining the flock who'd pass through the lake, and sometimes just flying solo in that clear blue sky. the flight of exuberance! that of freedom and independence..

and one fine day.. the curiosity got the better of it. It flew low, just above the waters; as if testing the waters.. trying to see what the fellow birds have already been after. The lake which had been so close all along looking even fuller.. full of vivid colors.

and that's when it decided to take the plunge! into the waters that were unknown, the waters that were bound to take away the freedom, and yet the same waters that were not so different, the waters that promised hope for the future, the waters that provided a home after those long flights.. So it took the plunge to find the other kind of happiness it had been missing all along.

Taking the plunge ain't that hard it seems.. and Happiness ain't that far!
